Some tips when playing FrontierVille:
I have to clear grass/rocks/cacti/skulls/wildflowers but I don't have any on my homestead!
You'll just have to wait, it will grow back eventually. I noticed that it will grow back sooner when you have a big open clearing with no decorations or buildings on it, so when it takes to long try to create an open space on your homestead.
How can I place a request link somewhere else so FrontierVille player can send me a free gift easier?
Follow this 5 steps:
1) Go to your wall
2) Find your post with the link
3) Right click on [Send Free ...]
4) Choose something like [Copy Link Adress]
5) Then you can paste your link anywhere you want!!
How do I get tools?
You used to get them when a neighbor send you one after tending things on you homestead, but currently they can also send something else, so the chance of getting a tool has diminished. You're best chanche of getting a tool is probably by beiing hired by a neighbor. Ask your neighbors to hire you and to send you a tool when you're done.
I need to clear thorns, but I don't have any on my homestead!
(I'm testing this) Thorns seem to spawn from mature oak trees. It is said the best way to get thorns is to remove all decorations from the north (topcenter) corner, chop the pine trees and make sure there is enough space for thorns to spawn between mature oak trees.
But again, I am testing this right now.
